Aggressive Dog Training in Gatineau

Practical, ethical help for dogs showing aggression toward people, other dogs, strangers at the door or in the home.

We work privately — never in groups — in your home in Gatineau, Hull, Aylmer or Chelsea, where the behaviour actually happens.

A real plan — not just a muzzle and hope

Aggression is almost always rooted in fear, frustration or genetics — not 'dominance.' We start with a full behaviour assessment to understand triggers, thresholds and management gaps.

From there we build a private program combining management, counter-conditioning, impulse control and clear communication. Safety first, always — for your dog, your family and the public.

  • Leash reactivity and lunging on walks
  • Dog-to-dog aggression
  • Stranger / visitor aggression at the door
  • Resource guarding (food, toys, space)
  • Fear-based and defensive aggression
  • Bilingual coaching (EN / FR)

Aggression FAQ

Can aggression be 'cured'?

Often it can be dramatically reduced and managed safely. 'Cured' depends on the cause, history and consistency of the owner — we'll be honest about realistic outcomes.

Has my dog bitten — can you still help?

Yes. Bite history is common in our caseload. We use a safety-first protocol with muzzle conditioning when appropriate.

Will I be in a group with other reactive dogs?

No. Aggression cases are always handled privately.
